There is a reason why this establishment is not busy even during the summer season - the staff overall service is scarse! Upon arrival it was raining heavily and there was minimal visibility on the road. We were unable to locate the chalet we booked even if they gave us a map to navigate so we always ended up at the reception. I asked the guy at the gate to at least give me a designated letter ( I saw A-B-C-D zones ) but he just laughs at us telling that there was no such thing. So for the 3rd time we went on and eventually discovered BY OUSRSELVES that we had to turn left at the "LETTER D CORNER"!!! We settled in and started preparing food. They provided us with an electric grill but everytime we plug it in, the outlet causes breaker/ fuse to trip and we have to call the front desk. The utility guy came and he told us to turn the AC off while using the electric grill, so we did, but the power kept on tripping. We called the front desk again and it took forever for them to send somebody over. Roberta at the front desk sounded frustrated blaming us over the phone that it was our the 5th time we called over the same issue. I needed to remind her that the electric grill was theirs and we did not plug in anything else in the room. Eventually we took care of everything ON OUR OWN! My friend decided to look for the circuit board by himself to turn the power back on again. When it got dark we again called the front desk because one of the lightbulbs at the patio was not working. She said there was nothing they could do because it was out of service. I asked her why did they consign us a chalet that they knew one main source of light at the patio was not working and she kept saying that there was nothing they could do about it!!! Lastly there were like 12 of us so we booked 3 houses asking them before hand if they could assign houses next to each other. This was not the case eventhough the houses in front of our chalet was not occupied. Overall since we arrived and during our stay, we received bad service. I also work in the hospitality business of an international chain of hotels and we NEVER respond to guests the way they did. Maybe it was easy for them to treat us that way because we were not Italians but I will surely not recommend this establishment to anyone. There are lots of camping village sites in Rome - STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!
