I went in for a hip replacement at the age of 57 and in great health except for my degenerated hip. I contracted an infection and subsequently had to have 4 additional hip replacements. This is a terrible health institution. I believe it is outdated and the surgical suites pale in comparison to the original hospital I had my other hip replacement performed. By the way if you don't believe me just pretend you need to get your hospital records and go in there and ride the elevator down to the basement and follow the signs to to the records department and look around you will see what it is like to be in a third world country! Seriously it is disgusting. The rooms are small and the AC is sparse and is just a motel 6 environment and the nursing staff just are not in a service paradigm in any way shape or form. Stay away from this hospital PLEASE. Oh yeah this has nothing to do with me being a Chiropractor it has to do with me being a human being who suffered for over 3 years and enduring four surgeries due to infection and by the way I went to a different hospital for my 3rd & 4th surgeries and guess what no infection!!! The 3rd was antibiotic temporary hip and 4th final hip.
