I am writing this to document my appalling experie...

I am writing this to document my appalling experience at your clinic earlier today.

To start with, I arrived just before my scheduled time only to find out that Dr. Mauricio had not arrived yet. We were ushered into a treatment room where we waited for 35 minutes until he finally arrived. On entering the room he failed to apologise for being late, failed say a simple greeting, or even acknowledge the patient (my mother) who was already in the treatment chair. Simply pointing at her he asked "Does she speak English?". And when I confirmed that she indeed does speak English quite well, he proceeded to completely ignore her and went straight to narrating to me the report that I had given his assistant before his arrival.

Dr. Mauricio made a brief explanation of what he "saw" from the report I gave, made the briefest of clinical examinations, instructed his nurse to make new radiographs and a C.T. scan and left the room. After the scans, he returned back, INTERMITTENTLY, stepping in and out ever few minutes, juggling between patients in different chairs, as he made an incoherent explanation of his suggested treatment plan, all directed to me, and continuing to completely ignore the patient who informed him several times that she would like him to explain to her so she would understand what he is explaining.

He finally left again and said he would be back. 15 minutes later, his nurse came back with a scrap piece of paper, with three scribbled treatment options on it, telling me that these are the options we should choose from but that he wanted one more radiograph. At this point, I got totally fed-up of the insensitive, uncaring, rude, unprofessional attitude and refused to complete the consultation and we left. In 2 hours and 20 minutes that we spent at your clinic (11:00am to 01:20pm) we saw Dr. Mauricio a combined total of roughly 20 minutes.

I informed the front-desk of my pre-mature termination of the consultation, my complaint and my extreme dissatisfaction as I made the consultation payment in full. They promised to relay my complaint to Dr. Mauricio and the administration but ofcourse I have heard nothing from him or anyone after.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at your clinic. I do not speak of dental treatment. I speak of professional patient management and care. Dr. Mauricio does not have time. Does not have interest. Does not have care. And quite honestly, simply does not have respect for his patients. It is a crying shame that a clinic as established as yours should condone, and ignore such terrible patient care.

I am appalled.
