After seeing Hatfield House used as a location on a film recently I felt I must visit. I was not disappointed. The gardens were amazing, lots of roses and peonies and irises. I'd say they were the best gardens I've ever seen in June. Brilliant lunch in Hugh Fearnley Whitingstalls deli. A lovely day out!
