Sadly, management is lacking for several reasons. We rent a room for our 501(c)(3) NPO to hold our meetings. We have to force the people using our room before us as they overstay their allotted time and get serious attitude as they vacate the room. We also get shuffled around from the medium-sized room we pay $$$ for to a smaller room without warning nor cause, forcing our members to crowd around. In the hottest days of summer, we get put in a room with no air conditioning at times. On one occasion, there was a water main break in the day, and instead of contacting us about this to tell us that they were closing the entire building, there was a note taped on the door stating this fact -- leaving us with no place to hold our meeting, some people coming from as far as Boston and Pittsburgh! We're still unsure if the billing reflects these corrections/changes. If they are going to rent rooms for other GLBT groups, they need to manage it a LOT BETTER. I've stopped making donations to The Center due to this apparent discrimination.
