My experience at McLaren Macomb was less than satisfactory to say the least. From the registration personnel to the man who"escorted" me to the second floor, he grabbed the paperwork from my hand and walked towards the elevator saying nothing, I was treated like I was interrupting their day and was inconveniencing them. My nurse Joe in pre-op was great be did his best to make me comfortable, but another nurse came in and undermined him and was rough and rude with me in front of my daughter. I was already nervous regarding my procedure. No one spoke to me to inform me as to what was going on, the anesthesiologist said MAYBE 3 words to me. In recovery while trying to come around I could overhear the nurse talking about her lunch plans and she told another nurse "as soon as I get rid of her I can go." I may have had my eyes closed, but I could still hear. The girl who wheeled me to my car said nothing until we got outside and she rudely said, " which car is yours?" That was my pleasant experience at McLaren Macomb. NEVER AGAIN and I suggest you go elsewhere as well.
