4 of us went to the Bob Carr theater for the first time to see Anita Baker. I appreciate the email a couple days before the event providing me with advanced info regarding parking, traffic patterns and other interesting and important facts. But I was shocked at the seating layout. You either entered from the left or right if you had orchestra seats. We were in seats 18 - 22 and while I chose to be close to the center of the theater, I had no idea I would have to walk by 18 seats to get to my seat and I assume another 24 - 26 seats to get to the other side. Once the concert started my friend had to use their cell phone flashlight to avoid crushing toes or worse. How could the Fire Marshall allow no middle isle be required? The concert was great, but I will avoid going to this venue unless Jesus is headlining.
