Back in 2012 I purchased my 2011 Dodge Charger from Koons Ford in Tysons. I freaking love my V8, but my first stranded experience was in FFX about 3yrs ago and due to the circumstances, I had to get my car towed here to get it serviced... The very next day they got me back up and running and completed the work needed.

I brought it here a couple more times after that throughout the years. The department and techs were very efficient, quick, communicative, friendly, and I felt good each time leaving my vehicle in their hands.

It wasn't until this week that I had to deal with my first negative experience involving a dishonest mechanic. I had my car towed on a Sunday night from my home to get it worked on for the week and next day (Monday) I received and signed an emailed work order from my assigned mechanic with price number 1 (96k maintenance) which I responded to and approved the work. Later in the week (Wednesday) I decided to call the assigned mechanic and check the status of my car. Come to find out my car was sitting dormant for 2days Monday/Tuesday... I was a bit furious but I accepted it and explained my deadline to get it fixed and confirmed the itemized work order with what needed to be done.

Thursday comes and I get 3 more calls with inaccurate estimates from the same mechanic working on my vehicle, I verbally agree to a 2nd work order and Friday (which was the worst call), the same mechanic insisted on trying to advise me, price gouge and then up-sell me on buying new car. All the while, telling me my new invoice was 1k over the agreed upon amount. At this point I was done with him and needed to explain my situation to their Service dept Mgr. Marc Johnson. Unfortunately he was not there at that time but a gentleman named Heathe, who IF not for him, I would not be the Satisfied Customer that I am right now...

Hands down these two men handled this like Pros! These guys were my saints and I appreciate them very much. The way they scrambled to fix this mess ASAP was really assuring. They took it in their own hands and got it done the old fashion American business way. So good, I will come here just to visit them. I want to commend both of these gentlemen for their due diligence, hard work, listening skills, and patience and support towards me. Heathe took the initiative and was on top of it, overall Great Auto Shop and am very satisfied with the end result! Big ups to these two men
