I visited Morgan Randal office one week ago to find a flat to rent in their area. I was received By Jamie Saggs. After offering me some complementary refreshments, Jamie was very attentive in listening to my requirements. He asked the right questions and I noticed him taking detailed notes of my criteria and asking me questions about things I missed mentioning and he even asked about the things I don't like or the no-go areas for me. He later summarized my requirements as "Must have" , "nice to have" or "must avoid" list. Great first impression for me!

After exchanging contact details, we agreed a viewing date after my working hours.
What I liked about their style at this stage is that they don't jump into offering you a single property that they want to get rid off quickly and claim that this is the only option you have for this budget, as many other agents do. Or show you one property that barely matches your requirements among a group of other properties that are out of budget to make you reach the same conclusion.
Instead , immediately on the next day, I received an email from MR with 5 properties that we can view during my appointment. I found this very time efficient and honest. Because from my experience with other agents, there is usually a tendency to make sure you have only one option at a time and they only come up with an alternate when they feel you are going to walk away!. We met at office on time and Jamie drove me in their car to see all the properties one by one. All of the properties he showed me was within my price range or even below.

I was impressed by his knowledge of the area and his ability to give local tips about night time transport options, local pubs and restaurants and near by super markets and laundry shops. His attitude along the process was very friendly and honest. I really felt I am doing the viewings with a friend not with an agent who just wants you to say YES and rush into a deal. He listens well and recognizes the concerns and notes you may have about what you view and doesn't try to pressure you with the famous phrase "this is going to disappear in 2 hours, You need to make an offer now!".

I would definitely recommend MR for anyone looking for a property around the Isle of Dogs and Canary wharf area.
