We went to Dave s World because my husband did not...

We went to Dave s World because my husband did not want to buy from a box store and thought we would be better off using a local company.

We went to Dave s to get a needed new stove and decided to get the matching over the range microwave, and dishwasher in black stainless. We chose our stove and went from there. Put down a downpayment and left thinking Delivery of new appliances would be approx 11/17.

Got home, got out computer and called up our model numbers ....NOT what we thought was ordered, I immediately called Dave s and left a message with my sales person and I also sent an email. No response, so a couple hours later I called and left another message and emailed again. No response. Monday I waited, and decided to make them another visit. In the meantime the Check/down payment was processed. The items we wanted had to be reordered with a new delivery date of the end of year, or the first of next. I need a stove now. So I look around at what is in stock-floor models only. I leave to discuss with the husband.

We decide we will go with a white model they have in house. I call again and leave.a message we will take this and for them to Please call me back. I waited a few days and had to call again. We scheduled a delivery date and decided with this poor service we would buy the remaining appliances elsewhere.

The stove is delivered, old removed new installed. After installation, the delivery person told us the stove had a scratch and asked if it was off the floor - yes, he also said it could have gotten scratched putting it in my home. It s a 30 stove, the door entrance is 32 and my husband removed the main door, leaving a wooden screen door. I immediately called Dave s, got a voice mail, hung up and before I could redial I got a call from them saying they had missed a call from me. Long story short, take pictures, text them and someone would get back to me on Monday.

Needless to say we are not happy with Dave s world and when I told them this they thought they had given us a good deal and shouldn t feel this way..Perhaps the stove should not have been delivered thru the entry way. We paid the sale price, not a penny less.
