The cake and dessert table was ok. This was my first stop in shopping around for my son's 1st birthday cake. Being inexperienced, I went with the first cake shop I stopped at. I didn't really enjoy the buttercream on the cake, found it tasting more like plain butter than flavored butter cream. The dessert table items weren't as professionally done as I expected, given the price for the cake and desserts. Also I probably should have asked for the size of the cake I was getting before I placed my order. Upon delivery, it was 12 inches wide and 13 inches tall with a crown. I had to add a cake stand to make the appearance of a bigger and taller cake. I paid $500 for a small cake and 6 desserts (about 5 pieces each, except for 12 cupcakes). Not sure I would hire again but the pictures looked great. (I do have to say the Chef was professional, shop was clean and cake tasting was given.) Shop around first and don't be afraid to say no if you don't like something.
