We recently went on the Lets Go Punting tour around Cambridge and were so lucky to get such a good guide as Matt B. He was so informative, friendly, chatty and funny throughout. We didn't feel he was reciting a script. The tour shows you a different perspective from the bus tour which we did also enjoy. I just wish I could remember half the information given! I would suggest you go out of the busy times, we did a 3.30 slot and it was still quite busy on the river but it was in the run up to Easter.
