Very surprised I was given this opportunity to voice my opinion on our last purchase in 2011. Previously we had been faithful customers for several rooms in our new home. The last one however, was a nightmare. Our family room sofa, loveseat, and chair was delivered after a substantial waiting period. We did not mind for we thought we purchased quality furniture as before. The chair, no problem. The sofa and loveseat is a different matter. The pillows were not finished with the proper fringe these were replaced. The workmanship on the sofa is very poor. Every time we look at our sofa we get upset. The back rail of the sofa and loveseat are full of wrinkles where they stapled the fabric to the frame. Mind you we have a open family room and the backs of the sofa is exposed for all to see for it floats in the middle of the room. They replaced the cushions once because the fabric was showing early signs of pilling. I was told not to vacuum my furniture. That did not sit well with us. I am now afraid to vacuum and only use a micro fiber cloth to dust it. I am grateful I do not have young children residing in our home at this stage in our life. I am sure if I did the furniture items would be ready for replacement by now only after 4 years. How can you not vacuum your furniture? I now see this pilling on all parts of our furniture. When I selected this fabric, I asked what was the grade of fabric. At the time I ordered it I was told it was a excellent fabric choice. I was told stores do not post or grade the fabric anymore. I thought this to be strange and now, I know I was just given excuses. We still questioned the wear on other parts of the furniture. After still another visit with a repairman who arrived with the wrong material he left and told us we would be contacted and never were. We were so upset, we just gave up. Our promise to never do business with Norwood again has been kept.
