Andrea Cremese Review of Sound Ford of Renton

Not happy as I lost a lot of time here after a bait and switch. If you want second hand, I suggest a former rentla place (Hertz, Dollar and Enterprise are in the area). Better deals, better treatment.
I called in to check if they had a competing offer on a good Ford Focus I had found, with certain features, at a certain price. I disclosed the price to them. They told me they could put on the plate a competing offer, in the same price, and to come in. That was the mistake.
Turned out the vehicle they were offering was similar in terms of package, but 5k on the other offer I had (it's a focus, do the math on what percentage that is). After luring me in with that offer, which btws took > 30 mins to find the car on the lot (surprise surprise), they tried very hard to sell me something else, which they assembled in the minsutes it took to "find the car". I guess that is their job.
The whole caboodle lasted for at least an hour and 1/2. Felt like I had laser pointed at my pockets all the time. Right from when I arrived on the lot (some 3 sales man came out almost at the same time). Not happy, would not recommend.
Also funny, they called me 4 times in the space of a couple of hours on the day after my first visit. They even left personal messages on my answering machine. When I called back it took the salesman some 5 minutes to figure out who I was...
The only positive I want to mention was the younger lad that took us out for the tours (Peter, I think). He was really courteous and nice, and knowledgeable.
Bought second hand car at a former rental (Hetz, Dollar, Enterprise). Treated like a human - not like a slot machine. No hassle, got a much better deal of what they were proposing here.
