Accommodations were fine, food was great BUT front...

Accommodations were fine, food was great BUT front desk (Bob in particular) fell well short of the quality we expect from Lutsen Lodge. From the moment we walked in there was no greeting, no "can we help you", no acknowledgment whatsoever we were even there. Once my husband said hello, Bob was argumentative at best when we asked if we could possibly check in early. We're told in so many words that company policy prohibits that etc.. We left and came back.
Upon check in, noticed our rate was higher then quoted when reservations were made. The lady assured us at check out, a credit would be made.
Upon checkout with Bob, we noticed no credit was given.. Another "discussion" ensued with Bob telling us there would be no credit. When we informed him of what we were told at check in, he then looked on computer and said "a credit will be applied for being misquoted a rate."
While waiting in line, we could hear other customers having issues and arguments with Bob over wrong rates...
People very upset. Again, beautiful setting, great bar and restaurant.. Experience at check in/check out was not a good experience..Bob should not be handling guests, we witnessed a number of guests have issues with him.. He has zero etiquette or customer relations skills.. Lutsen Lodge guests deserve better.
