The Center was full of campers and staff so there was a joyous ring in the air. Or maybe it was the screaming kids.

The kids did not discount the experience and actually brought about a sense of child-like wonder in me during my jaunt through the woods. This caused me to ignore a sign and go slightly off trail, but I was just looking for bugs.

The Nature Center was a welcome sight in the city and the trees were in full bloom, complete with birds flying to and fro, chirping along the way. The wetlands overlook was breathtaking; the open air, densely packed flora, and fresh air overtook me. A must visit for anyone looking to escape the city.
