Review of The Clay Hotel

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in January. We were received very friendly and everything was explained to us in detail. The Clay itself does not have a breakfast buffet or anything like that, but the hotel has partnerships with several restaurants on the Espanola way where you get discounts on food and especially with the Havana 1957 which offers a full breakfast with coffee and fresh juices for about $ 8 gets. During our visit, we noticed that a lot is being renovated and renovated. There were also signs everywhere that pointed and asked for their understanding. Accordingly, some rooms were obviously renovated and some not yet. Our room had a new bathroom and new air conditioning. The TV, microwave and fridge were a bit older but functional. The location is the best at the clay. We arrived in the evening at about 19 o'clock and on the Espanola way was already good mood. However, the waiters are a bit annoying and try a permanent in the restaurants to lure (happy hour, special discount, etc.) Accordingly loud it is however. The beach is about 5 minutes walk. On the beach there are two beach loungers and umbrellas to rent the hotel and as a guest of the clay you get sunbeds and umbrellas for free. Speaking of free, in Miami Beach you get as a tourist every day min. 1 bottle of water for free. We had 2 bottles in the fridge and still got 2 directly at check in. Overall, you can recommend the hotel to a very young audience. It is the perfect location for beach and nightlife and the famous Ocean Drive with the Art Deco district is also only 10min. walk away. Older guests or noise sensitive guests can only partially recommend it.
