I stayed at the Graduate in Richmond where the PMC was the valet. The valet damaged my new SUV by backing it up into a wall near the hotel. When retrieving the car from Valet, nobody informed me of the accident on the passenger rear bumper. The door was held open for me on the drivers side to get in and 20 min later, after I reached my destination, I noticed the scratch. When I returned to the valet 2 hrs later I immediately informed them of the situation. They acted like they were going to get it taken care of and I was asked a day later to fill out a form. The claims department denied my claim saying I has left the premises. Even though the valet workers knew the situation, they still declined the claim. Fortunately the hotel stepped in and at least comped my stay but the valet company was unethical in this situation. Unfortunately I'm not surprised they did not do the right thing. I did nothing to deserve them doing that to my vehicle and they did not inform me of the situation when returning to the car. Dishonest.
