My husband and I were visiting in San Marcos with our son and wife last Friday. He started having symptoms of a stroke so we took him to Urgent care who then sent us to CTMC. The admission was quick and efficient. Our nurse, Shelby, and the rest of the team were very professional and quick to respond. He was in CT Scan within 35 min. They kept us all informed and were very supportive. After a repeat CTS with contrast it was decided to send him to St David's in Austin. The longest wait was for the ambulance, who were also very kind and accommodating. Being an RN myself, I witnessed ultimate competence and efficiency with all we came in contact with. The Doctor kept us informed as well as our nurse. Being from out of town, we could not have received better care. I am confident to say we would not hesitate to return to this hospital should the need ever arise again. Kudos to this ER staff!! Thank you and continue the good work!!
