I'm tempting Murphy's Law by posting this before closing, but so far, this has been the easiest home purchase experience I have ever had by far. We have been working with Laura T. on the purchase of our home and she has been phenomenal. Laura is super responsive, knowledgeable, and I truly believe that her experience and expertise is what got us the home we wanted while competing against multiple other offers. We found the house on Zillow on Saturday morning and put in a showing request. Laura is who called us back. We saw the house on a Saturday afternoon and made an offer Sunday morning (accepted Monday afternoon). It is now Wednesday and the contract has been signed by all parties, all inspections have been scheduled (septic, home, well, surveyor, appraisal), she hooked us up with a flooring guy that we will meet on Friday, and all agreements for these services have already been signed. She has been patient and provided detailed responses to our many questions (we've never owned property with a well or septic tank) and she found a potential property issue that would have affected our financing, giving us time to switch lenders and still get the house. I have no doubt that with less detailed realtors, that issue wouldn't have been noticed and we would've gotten substantially through the process before losing our financing for this small detail. We've only been working with Laura for 5 days and I cannot say enough good things about her. You want Laura to help you purchase a home, I promise.
