I chose this hotel because of the location (the proximity to Stanley Park and the trail). It's dog-friendly, which is awesome, and they don't charge an extra fee for having your dog stay with you. The room I had was big and spacious, which was nice. The bathroom was small, but that doesn't matter as much. The bed was comfortable. Only one of the elevators was working, and it was tiny - 2 people fit in it comfortably, but a 3rd would make it cramped. The staff was polite and helpful.

My biggest complaint is about the wifi. It was frustratingly slow 95% of the time, and then other times would not work at all. I wasn't doing anything intensive, just searching the web for directions, or Yelp for recommendations on restaurants, etc. I was on the 3rd floor, and going to the lobby helped a little, the wifi was a bit stronger in the lobby, but that's pretty inconvenient. When we notified the front desk about the wifi, they restarted the router, hoping that would fix it, but to no avail. It was so frustrating that I would probably not stay at this hotel again, even though I was happy with every other aspect of my stay.
