Dropped my laptop for a fan issue. They informed me that fan needs to be replaced and the part will take 4-6 weeks to arrive due to current situation.

Since i needed my laptop as soon as possible, I asked them if it can be repaired and they stated that they can try but they dont suggest it since it will most likely to be temporary repair. They proceeded as i asked them to try and managed to fix it. I got my laptop cleaned and fans fixed. I retrieved my laptop in good condition as it was cleaned with care.

After a week, the fans stopped working again as they told me they might will.

However, thing that made me upset is them misinforming me about fan replacement service.

After fans stopped working again, I managed to find the fan in UK with a quick online search and it arrived in 2 DAYS and it cost 1/5 of the price they estimated for their fan replacement service.

I would not have considered asking them to try to fix it if they gave me real delivery dates with a proportionally fair fee not 5x of the part cost.

Week after i take my laptop from Creative IT, i managed to replace fans myself.
