It is a good place to learn about American history through arts. They do have other exhibits but I would recommend the civil war section and the president portraits.

The portraits of Obama, Clinton, and JFK are must-sees for art lovers. They stand out from the other portraits. There is usually a line in front of the Obama's portrait but it moves pretty quickly.
