Kudos to your team for the FABULOUS job they did for our joint RETIREMENT party on July 28, 2018 in the Flynn Ballroom. You accommodated our every wish and for that we are thankful because this was a most memorable event shared by a large crowd. Also, our party included family, friends and work colleagues. There were formal retirement presentations, games and dancing which made the event atypical since it was quasi work-related yet fun. It was wonderful to have a planning meeting that included an open exchange of ideas because our daughters love to cook so they are particularly knowledgeable about food and its preparation which made us somewhat more difficult customers in that respect.

All of the guests keep telling me that this was the BEST buffet food selection and taste that they have ever enjoyed at any party. People kept marveling that buffet salmon could be that flavorful and moist since fish is usually next to inedible in small buffets much less large ones. The tenderloin beef flavors were distinct and the meat was so fork tender. The mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables were seasoned nicely and had appetizing texture.

The guests very much favored the deconstructed salad bar that had the variety of toppings and salad dressings. The rolls were a hit as well. The same for the desserts and fruit.

People keep remarking that the service was excellent water glasses never got to less than half full which was critical on a muggy summer day. The open bar service was efficient and speedy.

Many noticed that you are open on Friday nights and I ve told them that many of the menu items from the party are on the regular menu.

It is also noteworthy that George and his team were very flexible and did not hesitate to switch gears from our original plan after checking in with me to accommodate some of the later guest arrivals and to relieve any gaps that the staff perceived were occurring although no one was complaining from our side! I ve asked some guests and even though George was concerned about lines at the buffet everyone keeps telling me that there was no significant problem and that the food was worth any wait. Communication has been excellent from the pre-planning to the end of the event.

Do not hesitate to use this recommendation in your literature although you can t use the e-mail information since it s from work and will be stopping anyway due to retirement.

We now know that WCC is a very viable option for any future parties. We now have the open dining on our radar so we will visit again. Our guests are also now talking about the amenities offered at WCC.

Thank you again for creating a memorable function on our behalf. Not one complaint from anyone about anything which has to be a record.
