Valdez has kept all but $95.67 from my $825,00 security deposit. Although I was not informed about them in my lease nor through a Move-out letter. They site the following charges, which by the way, in the case of the only 2 receipts I have received, don't reflect the actual cost of service. clean chimney $116.85 (actual $86.03) clean carpet $222.54 (actual $138.03) no other receipts were provided clean house $357.44 sweep driveway, remove all trash $32.50 total $729.33. Although yesterday, Valdez told me "The receipts I sent were to show the previous tenants had the carpets and fireplace cleaned, they were not to show what the cost was supposed to be. We hired different companies to do the work, therefore the cost is different."

Really?

I have numerous move-in and move-out photos, as well as a copy of my move-in Condition Report. I had checked yelp and google review on this company and was quite concerned based on their tract recored, so I decided to cover myself as best as I could. The apt was not cleaned when the told me I could pick-up my key at move in. I had a moving van on the way to my new apt, so I could not wait for it to be cleaned after the time I was told I could pick-up my keys. In addition I have many photos of a mold issue which Valdez was made aware of and chose not to believe, although they received those photos and sent someone out to treat it with a product not meant for mold removal. I have all emails sent between us and photos to document what I have stated. I have told Becky West I will go to court to get my deposit back, and will file after the 30 process the BBB feels it will take to complete their process.
