They had decent prospects of running a great business at many of their locations across the US. Unfortunately (for this location and probably others) they drove away A LOT of the great, experienced, and knowledgeable staff within the first few years of opening the location. We noticed many of the nicer staff "disappearing" bit by bit those first few years. We found out why, partly because of nutty paranoid ideals by certain security members (also driving away nicer security staff that just couldn't deal with some of the horrible procedures they were inacting). Essentially the executives allowed these things to go on (and probably helped it happen at other locations) and shot themselves in the foot. Not to mention more and more nutty corporate ideals had been getting driven into their business dealings. They pretty much screwed their own business over, and now have totally sold out what could have been a really nice large business/attraction to last for many more decade, and now sold out to the totally corporate Bass Pro Shops. Just goes to show you how executives get bizarre ideals and gradually destroy what was once a great business for both employees and consumers.
