BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought a used 2010 FJ and the extended warranty from Mark Miller Toyota. My back camera went out and I was was told by Mark Miller service dept. that it is not covered by my warranty. I went to Larry H Miller, where I had spent over six hundred dollars to fix it. When my husband bought our Rav 4 last year, he did not want the extended warranty on it because of what we experienced with the FJ. Mr. Mondragon told my husband that you should have brought it there to have the warranty take care of it. My husband said we did and your service department flat out told us you did not cover it. We ask that we be reimbursed for the camera, and after months of fighting with Mr. Mondragon, and their warranty dept., we were denied because we took it somewhere else to be fixed and we should have did a warranty claim through their department. I would have done warranty claim had we had known or been told that is what we needed to do. After the terrible treatment from Mr. Mondragon, we regretted buying the Rav 4 from Mark Miller Toyota.
When we get the service done on our Rav 4, with an appointment, service tells us that it will be a half hour wait. That has not been our experience. Today I dropped off the Rav to the wrong garage stall and was told it needed to be dropped off to the stall 3 garage. I was told by two service people that it would be no more than a half hour wait. The service guy pulled my car to the second stall and I had to remind him what he told me earlier, that it needs to go to the third stall. By this time I had waited 40 min. and my care was behind two other cars. I ask for shuttle service so I will not be late. The lady at the counter told me the person who is doing the shuttle should be there any min. After waiting another 15 min for shuttle service, I had to take my car and leave so I would not be late for work. Plus I did not trust that they would pick me up in time to get my car when I needed to leave for work. This happens every time I need to have my car serviced. Today I could not be late back to work as I had to leave early and had a lot of work to do, otherwise I would have waited the hour and a half for my car to be serviced with an appointment. Terrible service, terrible experiences.
Go to Larry H. Miller for exceptional service, and even without an appointment, my experience with them has been a lot quicker, a lot better.
There is no comparison.
