Fourth of July very disappointing at the Marriott....

Fourth of July very disappointing at the Marriott. I had a reservations for today. We could not get into the Marriott due to security. I called the hotel, the switchboard operator would not transfer me to the Front desk manager. (Too busy). Hilton properties are looking better.
