A beautiful place, very clean and well kept up. However, the staff didn't make me feel welcomed at all. I went in to check out the facility and to see about volunteering, and when I went back to look I had to be escorted, and I didn't get to see any dogs individually. The staff member just told me their names and kept walking. I had to leave when she was ready, not when I was ready. I wanted to stay and interact with some of them, but I wasn't offered to and it didn't seem like it was something I could ask about. I felt like it was a bother to the staff for me to be in there. I didn't go to see the cats, I was too upset to stay.
I wasn't looking to adopt, but I did come to see what kind of place this was, and I'm honestly not impressed with their customer service at all.

To make a long story short; great, clean place - bad customer service. I'll stick to volunteering at the Saint Louis County Animal Control, they have much better policies and I always feel welcomed there and able to move around as I please.
