It's like going back in time. The plantation staff live out the part of the early settlers by staying in character at all times and performing the daily tasks that you and I would have had to do if we were those settlement residents. You will learn a lot about the customs, religious beliefs, culture, family life and commerce as they knew it. You'd be surprised how much of American History as taught to you in textbooks is debunked here. This is a really interesting journey and you will spent about an hour to two learning more about early American life that your entire education provided on the subject.
