The rooms are ok but a little dated. Of course the views are spectacular, but you really only need a window to accomplish that, the Falls do the rest of the work.
The reviews are correct, it is an extra 40$ a day to park with their valet. I would be fine paying for the service, but it was the most ridiculous valet service I have ever experienced! The wait was insane when trying to get our car back at check out. We waited for over 2 hours with zero explanation from staff. We scanned our ticket to get the car and were given a window of 20-30 minutes. After an hour my husband finally went to go see what the hold up was and he was told our car was on the way. Forty five minutes later still no car and my husband went back up and still no real information on what was going on. Finally, after 2 hours our car pulls up and the valet says nothing to us. My husband asked the guy out right what the hell was taking so long and was finally told that there was a lot of icing on the cars and it was taking "extra time" to clear them off. (If you are going to offer a valet service in JANUARY in Niagara Falls of all places you'd think they would have a better plan in place to deal with ice!) IF there is a major problem resulting in a 2 HOUR delay why wouldn't they have staff out there doing damage control!? They could've explained the situation out right and offered a late check-out, or breakfast and coffee for the guests that were held hostage in the lobby. There was NO explaination from the hotel's end to ease impatient guests trying to figure out what was going on. Totally unacceptable if you are going to charge a high premium for that service! Unfortunately it really overshadowed the whole experience for me and I would advice staying somewhere else. There were plenty of hotels on that strip with equally good views.
