This has been one of the worst hospitals I had visited. I have visited the radiology department for a simple TB screen X-ray imaging study as a self pay patient. At the time of the visit, I was given a bill for $100, with the explanation that this is the total I would have to pay for the said services. The service at the time of the visit took approximately one hour and forty five minutes, even though I was the second customer of the day in that department. About 3 weeks post visit, I received a bill from a radiology department located in Texas charging $37 for x-ray services. When I called, they explained that this is their normal routine, even though nobody had given me any information about such charge at the time of the service. It is important to remember, this study was done at a hospital, and a need for external radiologist is absolutely unnecessary. Furthermore, after almost two months after the service date, I received yet another bill for about $12. When called, the representative explained that " we never put it in writing that it will be a flat rate and therefore it is at our discretion to adjust the fees even days after the services are done". I know this center is not BBB accredited, but I hope they never get this accreditation as there nothing good about this organization.
