Arrived late at night, meeting my wife's parents at the hotel. There is a bar/restaurant attached to this hotel (also where you eat breakfast) and there were some drunken people making a scene. Hotel security did run them off. Parking was hard to find, as a great deal of overly large utility trucks and other large vehicles took up a great deal of the parking lot. The floor and room did have an odor to it (they are under renovation). The room was ok. Fairly clean. Decent bed and good a/c. The primary entry door is dated and hard to open via card. The bathroom is clean, but dated. Very old looking door, few black spots on the ceiling, and NO VENT...so any #2 will stink the room for a while. My wife couldn't get the wifi to work, so the front desk asked her to come to the lobby so they could enter the info on her phone, at midnight. Her parents had received the correct wifi info with their keycards, so she got it that way. My wife also requested a wake up call, which we did not receive. Sheets are a little scratchy. At roughly 0130, I was awoken by someone tryiny to force themselves into the room. It was another couple with room keys for our room. I asked the front desk the next day, and we had been assigned the incorrect room at check in. She offered an apology and cleared the paperwork up. Breakfast is decent, about average fare for a Choice Hotel... Pretty tired of it after 3 mornings. There are several restaurants and stores nearby, and its close to the interstate. Overall disappointed, I'd try another hotel nearby instead.
