My service was cut off. I called to make a payment arrangement. After being disconnected over 10 times, I was told $25 would restore my service. After making the $25 payment, my power wasn't restored. I called and spoke with Brittany, who told me I needed to make another payment of $5.16 to restore service. I explained what I was told and asked to speak with her supervisor. A man named Jack got on the phone. I explained my problem and that I could post the additional $5 payment TOMORROW. Here's the interesting part... Not only would he not let $5 slide for a day, but he asked me if I'd like him to call DHS for me since I have a toddler on oxygen living in my home without power. It sounded more like a threat than an offer...
Jack, your lack of compassion is astounding. I hope you never experience the hardships that I endured on this day. And if you do, I hope the person assigned to help you is MUCH more compassionate than you were to me. God bless your heart.
