Bf & I had a date night here; it's quite a bit farther than the usual places we dine in the Dallas area but it was definitely worth the drive! Inzo is located in a charming (and newly developed?) downtown area; you can't miss the restaurant, they have string light bulbs strung across the outdoor patio to give it an inviting feeling. There was no wait as we were seated inside, the table cloth is a bit cheesy but whatever, wasn't a big deal. I had a deliciously refreshing glass of Riesling while we enjoyed the prosciutto & mozzarella appetizer. I went ahead and order the shrimp scampi which was AWESOME! It wasn't ridiculously buttery but the noodles were cooked just right and a few large shrimp tails topped the dish, it was garlicy (just as I like it) and had a wonderful acidic lemon flavor to it, as well. YUM! Bf had some sort of pizza which he loved, he's not a big fan of Italian food and less of a fan for tomato sauce so it was awesome to see some sauce-less pizzas on the menu. His pizza was also great, I finished it off the next day, haha. To end our meal, we split a slice of tiramisu. Service was wonderful and I know we'll be back for more, I just wish we lived closer so I could invite my friends & family for dinner!
