My advice to any parents thinking about sending your child here:

Be aware that this 6 - 15 week program is not going to fix your child. It is more of an assessment program. The whole aim is to convince your parents to send you on to a follow up program. ( therapeutic boarding school etc )

So make sure you have got the funds to really see this through properly. My mother said that this wasn't made clear until I was out in the desert. I would of been sent to one of these follow up programs if she had the funds. As she didn't I got to come home, which was a bad idea as I was now being put in the same environment I'd left just months before. I also missed out on crucial school work.

As far as the staff go, in my group the majority were good but a few were not. But I didn't experience or witness any abuse just some seemed like they could of been more caring.

So do your research on costs and make sure you can go the whole way otherwise you are probably just going to create a bigger problem.
