I ve praised the service of this health plan in the past, but they re getting sloppy. I took a colon smear test last year, mailed it, and then was confused when I received a phone call asking me about the test, which I confirmed I had, and then was sent another one. Finally, I got the gift card that suggested that the original test had been received. This year I made an appointment (it was for today) to have a wellness checkup and receive the Covid vaccine. I had decided to wait on trying to access the vaccine until the demand was larger than the supply because I didn t want to deal with the stress. First I got a call asking me to make another appointment. Then yesterday I learned that the vaccine had not arrived. Seniors don t need that kind of stress and confusion. I m back to waiting until the supply is larger than the demand and will go to my neighborhood CVS for the vaccine.
