We went here on a Wednesday afternoon after a visit to the Borghese Gallery. It was nearly empty and very comfortable to walk around in. About 15% of it was closed for renovations. Possibly the least-smelly zoo I have ever experienced. It was a great way to spend three leisurely hours.
