We adopted our new cat the beginning of March. The adoption process was great, everyone was very helpful and the facility is really nice. However, they need to do a better job vetting their animals. Our cat was listed as being 14 months old even though she weighed only 3 pounds. It was later confirmed by my vet that she was only 12 weeks old and extremely malnourished. Also, she came home with a horrible case of ear mites that three weeks later are still being treated as well as a fever and severe upper respiratory infection. While I would still go there to adopt and still would have selected the same cat, I wish they had provided a better medical history.
