Sadly, I give this establishment one star. IF the owners cared at all about the product/this jewel of the city of Detroit, they would invest in improving this hotel. Upon my visit...parking was terrible (pothole filled lot and too small). Front desk was unprofessional and absent upon entry. Lights were blown out creating a dark first impression. Room was dated and unkempt. Bar was closed on a Friday night. Food was below expectations of a dirty spoon establishment. Ballroom space is a pole barn add-on (hard and cold). The ONLY thing nice about this hotel was the view of the beautiful Detroit River with it's many boaters & jetskiers cruising the riverfront. One star rating here is being generous.
