Free admission gives an amazing opportunity for lower income families to allow their children to experience the joy of different animals that they may not otherwise get the chance to see. For that reason alone it serves the community well and I witnessed so many children enthralled by the animals they saw and thrilled to have the opportunity to stroke and interact with them. It has a lovely atmosphere and feels tucked away and cosy. If you whizz round you will be finished quite quickly as it is not a big place, but I suggest taking your time and really getting to look properly. My children always want to walk around a second time, and what with the animal holding sessions, using the play area and having your own food or going to the cafe you can certainly make a full morning or afternoon. Pony rides are fun to add in too for your children. We have been about five times now and if you love animals you can never tire of seeing them again. Gorgeous little place and should be supported as children and families benefit enormously from the experience.
