I could share my view of the 2008-10 batch as I was from that batch - MBA day 2 yr MBA.The Faculty was by far the best in Finance ( I have KKR sir in my mind).Marketing faculty was good.But MBA HR guys were unfortunately paying a lot more for the course but was getting the same placement as that of MHRM guys who were paying less - hope this has been corrected.Many of the faculty even went on to join IIMs.However,in terms of placements,the institute has scope for improvement as it could approach the alumni and industry contacts more aggressively because many companies go to Army Institute of Management (in my opinion,the 4th best mba college in Kolkata after IIM,IIFT,IISWBM) first & then to IISWBM - which could be pre-empted with an aggressive placement Head and team.Proud of my Alma Mater anyway.
