I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in September of 2019 and fortunately also purchased the extended warranty. The fridge began to malfunction in early June of this year and by the end of the month it was totally inoperable. Initially the PCR personnel recommended repairing the unit, but after waiting 2 weeks in the height of two successive heat waves in July 2020 for a missing part, James, a manager at the Atlantic Ave location, recommended that a replacement unit be acquired via the warranty.
I have nothing but praise for the manner in which James handled this very 'hot' situation. After a botched delivery where the replacement unit was also defective and inoperable, James literally moved 'mountains' to get a second replacement delivered within 2 days, knowing that I had already been without a working fridge for nearly 6 weeks. I am very satisfied with James' excellent customer service and wish others would take note and follow his example.
