I have travelled to Faro three times now and each time it gets worse. On 1st April we arrived at 8.45 pm from Birmingham. The delays in getting though passport control were ridiculous. There were only 2 staff on to check passports and the automatic passport identification was under used due to no information on how to use the machines being displayed which resulted in everyone queuing on the two aisles that were manned. It took us over half an hour which is not what you want after a day's travelling. On previous trips to Faro I have come down the escalator to passport control with nowhere to go due to the crowds waiting and I feel that this is an accident waiting to happen. Somebody some time is going to get crushed.
