Check-in is at 4, which is when I arrived. I picked up my key and headed up to a filthy room. Looked like someone had a party in there the night before. Tub was full of wet towels, the bed was destroyed, beer bottles and cups everywhere. I immediately called the front desk and was advised that they would send housekeeping to clean the room. After an hour of sitting in a filthy room afraid to touch anything, I call the front desk to insist that something be done about my room. The only solution they could give me was to DOWNGRADE my room to two queens on a lower floor. Definitely not what I reserved. No compensation or discount of any type was offered. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Caesar's or the Venetian are a much better bet if you're looking for a place to stay. I've also always had good experiences at Treasure Island.
