Took the grandkids to the zoo today (a Sunday). So...

Took the grandkids to the zoo today (a Sunday). So many animals were "seeing the vet" or were gone for some reason. We really miss the elephants. There were several bounce house type attractions on the greenspace area of the zoo. It cost $10 for each child. That's ridiculous. It's a zoo, not an amusement park. And the kids were begging to go on those things. We did not let them, so they were not very happy. Not sure I'll bother taking them to the Santa Barbara Zoo again. Not worth the money.
