Sadly disappointed in the service dept. I bought an Acura RDX back in Janurary. A couple of months later, I started having issues with the Apple Carplay. The rear suspension also makes a popping noise when going up or down an incline such as going in or out of a parking lot. The service dept did a soft reset of the Carplay but couldn't find an isssue with the suspension. Everything went ok with the Carplay for a while, then it started glithcing again. It got so bad, the screen would never turn off even after the car was truned off. No radio, no phone, nothing. My son looked up a way to do a reset but it soon started glitching-going off and on at times. When took my car in I was told by the service rep that they would need to keep my car but they didn't have any loaner cars. We rescheduled my repair. I was assured I would have a loaner car for that appointment. After leaving, I got a text stating I missed my appointment. Hmmm. I called the service department and was told there was no record of my visit, even though I had just been there and there was no appt rescheduled, much less saying I would need a loaner car. Once again, I scheduled my appt for today with assurances I would have a loaner car. I even got a confimation text. When my husband called this morning, there was no record of my needing a loaner car. After discussing the ongoing communication issues, the person with the call center placed the request for my loaner car.
This morning when I got to Sterling McCall, I was informed that unless my Carplay was not currently giving me any issues, there was nothing they could do, the suspension still popped but that was not even addresses. Also, there were no loaner cars. Let me say the people in the service department have always been nothing but polite. Just disappointed with the lack of progress in addressing my issues. Will find another Acura dealer to help me out.
