A very good hotel, staff and standards except for ...

A very good hotel, staff and standards except for the Altitude restaurant. After making a dinner reservation for a Saturday night we received a call 20 minutes later to cancel our booking as a private party had it reserved, clearly the hotel valued a private party more than their guests. We ate their on the Sunday and the staff
and chefs were clearly struggling with the new menu, e.g. food served cold or warm. Expected much better from the restaurant.
