I have worked at several Tender Touch facilities. Here s what I have to say.
Firstly, the management is so supportive, knowledgeable and approachable. Tender Touch ensures that the directors of rehab are well trained in all areas including any new changes in Medicare and healthcare. If I ever have a question, I am always confident that my Director of Rehab will know and be more than happy to share and provide answers.
We as a rehab team are also frequently provided with webinars to update and guide us through any new, important healthcare changes. (FYI the webinars are SO CLEAR. They somehow take the most complicating rules like PDPM - and find a way to explain it in the simplest, easy-to-understand style!).
Sometimes, I actually feel spoiled when I see how nicely this company takes care of us. The health benefits are great, opportunity for bonuses, sporadic gifts for holidays or during PT/OT/ST month etc.
The work environment is quick paced but fun. In each TT facility, my coworkers were easygoing, worked well together as a rehab team, and truly care and try to make a difference.
Productivity is challenging in the beginning, but eventually you ease yourself into it as you get more comfortable in the facility and with the patients and it really isn t that difficult to stay on top of it.
I absolutely love going to work. Each day has been another opportunity for me to learn new skills and make a difference among a fun, friendly, sociable atmosphere.
I would highly recommend this company to others.
