Unless you're a Packer's fan, do not expect to get treated well. My cousin had his wedding at this hotel and most of my family was unable to book a hotel room here because of the Packer's home opener. He had one block of rooms, which was filled up by the wedding party (understandably). Myself, and many of my family members, were coming from out of town, at least a 3 hour drive, so we needed to stay somewhere. Last minute, some family members were unable to make it and two rooms opened up. I got lucky and snagged one. The room was astronomically priced, due to the Packer's home opener, but I was willing to pay it so I didn't have to drive 30-45 after the wedding reception. Like most hotels, check-in was at 3pm (check-out at 11), however the wedding ceremony started at 2. I called at 8 am to try to get early check-in (I understand it's not guaranteed and they have to clean the rooms, but in all my years of staying in a hotel, I almost always request an early check-in and not once have had a issue), the front desk clerk was immediately rude off the bat and said no, it's not going to be available. I figure I'd try again, a little later after some people have checked out. I called at 10, again, very rude on the phone and said no, check-out is not till 11, so I said I'd call back. I called back again at 11 and again, very rude and not available. We arrive at the hotel at 1:30, hoping to be able to change before the ceremony. I got in line, behind several packer's fans, and watch everyone of them receive an early check in. When I reached the desk, I asked if I could check in because I have a wedding ceremony to attend and would like to freshen up and change from my traveling clothing. There again, was nothing available (except for all the people in front of me who were just given early check in). Mind you this was a Saturday and the Packer's game was not till Sunday, so it wasn't as urgent for these people to get their rooms. Needless to say I missed my cousins wedding and was pretty upset about it, since I just drove 3 hours to see it. In addition, the room was trash. It had a sleep number bed, I think, well there was a remote, but it didn't work. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. Actually, I hardly slept because of it. The room was FREEZING. My mom went to shut off the air conditioner and it sounded like she jammed a fork in the thing. It made this ridiculously loud noise, that would not stop, so we were unable to shut it off. In the morning, there was a complementary breakfast (which there should be at the price of this crappy hotel). We found out that there were two restaurants that served it by going to the closest one and were rudely turned away by the hostess. She said you can eat at the other restaurant, we were just standing in line, and had no idea what was going on. I asked if they were not doing the complimentary breakfast at this one and she said there were but the other restaurant was just right around the corner. I was so confused. I asked if there was a wait and she said no, so then I said, well why cant we just eat at this one? It felt like we were being refused service and it was super embarrassing. She said that none of the tables were clean. Why wouldn't you just say that from the beginning. It was ridiculous. I feel like I can't even complain to them about it because I was not a priority customer and it really didn't matter. NEVER will stay there again. And I have another wedding in Green Bay next year. Looks like I'm going on VRBO to rent a cabin.
